Real Or AI?:
AI is getting so advanced that it’s honestly starting to feel a little scary seeing how real everything looks. About a year ago, you could easily tell when something was made with AI because it obviously sounded and looked fake. Now, AI can do all sorts of things like create videos, create images, talk, and even write. It’s getting harder and harder each day to tell what real and what’s fake with AI, and it’s beginning to make us wonder what we can trust online.
AI crazy advancing features:
One of the biggest advancements in AI is how it communicates. It can create essays, stories, videos, and can even have very natural conversations with people. It can even detect humor, emotions, and your tone. AI is getting insanely good at copying or creating people’s faces and animals.
Student view:
As a High school student AI is definitely all around. So many students use AI or watch AI videos not knowing the difference. I went around and asked a few students how they felt on how quickly AI is advancing. First, Aija Johnson says, “ we should should stop doing all this AI stuff because what if AI gets so advanced some day that it can take ur face and your recognition like it’s crazy! They should cut that AI stuff out!” Next, Alexis Miller states, “ I think AI is gonna take over all the jobs in the world and leave all the students in school with nothing when they get into the real world. We work so hard in school so it’s scary to think we could be doing all this work just to be replaced by a robot because it’s quicker and smarter.” And finally, Lily Kieth says, “ I think it’s ridiculous and I think people are losing their intelligence, I believe people don’t use their own creativity anymore and let AI just take over their thinking and their imagination.” In summary, some of the students seem to have similar if even the same opinions on AI. Which just goes to show how much AI has an effect on us high school students.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, AI is becoming the most advanced technology yet. Everyday something new has been done to improve the wellbeing of AI.
