Quincy started his coaching journey at West Virginia University for 5 years. After those 5 years he went to Fairmont State University. He further took his coaching journey to Fort Lauderdale University. He finished his coaching at Rio University. Quincy said his football journey started with the Weirton Steelers and has now come full circle back here head coaching. I talked to some of the Weir High football players about how he is doing and how they like having a new coach.
First, when I talked to most of the players, A lot of them said that he is doing good with a new atmosphere and new players. Zack Howland said that they are doing good, but they have a lot to work on. In addition, Zack also said that Quincy has great energy and keeps the team uplifted. Nick Dimatties as quarterback says that Quincy has helped him a lot and pushed him to be the best he can be.
When I spoke to the seniors, I askedabout how they think their senior year will play out; they all collectively said they think they will turn it around and win some games. Cayden Braswell stated that he thinks they will be able to put all their talent together and work as a team.
