Weir gets ready because this opportunity is like no other. Coming soon in 2027 we will be traveling to not one but two countries. These countries will be Ireland and England. So, get your suitcases ready for an opportunity of a lifetime!

What to expect:

Many people have questions on what to expect: What kind of weather conditions should i prepare for? Where will we be visiting in Ireland and England? How long will we stay? Well, since the trip is in the summer the weather should be warm in both Ireland and England. We will be visiting many places in both Ireland and England. These places are castles, museums, restaurants, traveling on ferries and many more things. We will also be in Ireland and England for 9 days total. This should help you prepare and give you more of an education of what to expect.

Thoughts and opinions:

A few Students and staff have opinions on the trip. I have went around asking students and staff what they are most excited about, Leila Hines said, “Hopefully we get to bring home souvenirs and stuff because it would be a great way to remember the fun times we had.” Ms. Dotson had this to say, “I think it is a wonderful opportunity for students, I highly recommend that if you can go, you should go. I have been on those trips before, and they are wonderful and its fantastic opportunity for students to visit foreign lands and again I highly recommend it.” Finally, Gracie Trifonoff says, “Going out of the country because I’ve never been, and seeing foreign people and how they live.” In total there are many things to get excited about when it comes to traveling the world.

In summary, this trip will be an amazing opportunity and adventure for all students and staff at Weir High. This will raise school spirit and inspire others. We will learn a lot while also having a fun time being out of the country!
