On Tuesday, September 20th, all students who purchased a 2021-22 yearbook will be called to the cafeteria at 10am for the first annual Weirite yearbook distribution party.

Students will get in lines based on last name, and Weir Student Media staff members will hand out the yearbooks. There will be a separate line for any customized yearbooks. Freshmen will be given their 8th grade yearbooks as well.

When asking WSM Adviser, Morgan Bricker, why Weir Student Media decided to plan this distribution party, she said, “We decided as a staff this year that we wanted to do something different, to make distribution more special and fun. We hope this event will celebrate the arrival of the last year’s yearbook and show our gratitude for their purchase and support.”

Addi Mikula, who helped create the yearbook, said that she thinks it is a great way to organize the distribution and encourage students to purchase yearbooks.

During the distribution, there will be bowls of candy for everyone to enjoy. Students can sign yearbooks and visit with each other until the end of the block, when they will be released to their next class.
