Hi, my name is Karlie Bailey and I am a Junior that attends Weir High School. I am in the journalism class, as a staff member, I’m also a member of academic games, GAA, NTHS, and pep club. I’ve made many improvements in academic games, as I have been a member since 5th grade and have gone to nationals many times. Last year in nationals my team and I placed 3rd nationally in current events which I was very happy about. I’ve received a $1,000 scholarship with Jon H Poteet last year for NTHS, and have many certifications because of the CTE class I completed over the past two years. I’ve always had a huge internet in drawing, but never thought of publication or anything with graphic design. I really want to go to college at John Hopkins, MD, to become a pediatric doctor.
