Summer Glasure

With 22 years of coaching experience, head coach Frank Sisinni is leading new ways for the Weir High football program.

The football team has hit some bumps this season with such low numbers of participation. There are boys out for regular season injuries, and running around problems with Covid. The boys record so far this season is 1-5.

The seniors on the team are Carson Yobaggy, Jayson Nosko, Myles Rice, Jacob Morgan and Joshua Boffman.

The strengths of this team is the hard work the boys put in for this team “ It’s a small group, but it’s a very dedicated group. The strength is definitely our underclassmen. We have 35 total kids and 25 of them are sophomores and freshmen,” said Coach Sisinni.

Starting quarterback Malachi Stromile has a total of 3 touchdowns this year so far.

The boys prepare for games week by week. Senior night is this Friday, October 22, against East Liverpool at home.
