The girls cheering team consists of a total of 8 girls. It is a very small squad, but with a great amount of determination. The seniors on this team are Brielle Tucker, Amaya Pendergrast, and Alex Alcantara. 

The girls practice for two hours 5 days a week preparing them selves for competition. Everyday at practice, they are learning their routine, cheer, and stunts. These girls are a very hardworking team. 

Attending both the away and home games for the football team, the girls keep their bond as strong as possible on their off-days. “We also have team dinners for home games. One of the team members host it at their house and we all eat and go to the game together, including the coaches,” said head coach Macey Gump. 

 The girls are very supportive in our football boys. They make door signs for every player and hang them on their door for every home game. The girls will also decorate the boys locker room for special events/games. 

The girls are preparing themselves very hard for regionals at Brooke High School on November 6. The girls must place 1 or 2 to make it to the state competition. Make sure to come out and support these girls in placing at regionals!
