Rolling up to your classroom door this year is the Red Rider Express with many new and old favorites to offer, Providing from sweet to sour and everything in between.

“We even have Octo buddies this year!” Stated Business computers teacher Candice Dotson who oversees the cart.

The Red Rider Express is a student-led business ran by Mrs. Dotson’s classes.  The classes decided to vote on new items to sell. They chose dill pickles, and sweet tea, along with the Octo Buddies. Octo buddies are silicone suction cup mounts that attach to the back of a phone case to keep it steady while filming or taking photos.  These items have created a spike in sales for the Red rider express. The express teaches students to start a business and to face the challenges of running one. “This class truly simulates a real-life business.”, Said Dotson. This has been very beneficial to our school and students as it offers a service to students that they did not have before.
