Senior sunrise was the first of many events for the Class of 2024. Many graduating students have mixed emotions about the last first day. Some people looked forward to the last first day while others didn’t want it to come, but most seemed happy about the event.
The class parent group encouraged seniors to participate in the event so they could build bonds. They took in every moment of the day because they knew they could never get it back.
Angela Paull explained,” Honestly I was a little sad because I will be starting a new chapter of my life after high school, but I was again happy and just cherishing the last moments.”
Olivia Baker said, “It was bittersweet, and I enjoyed seeing everyone.”
The event had many activities for the students, and it brought everyone together. There was food, picture taking, relaxation, and talking with friends. There were also other activities such as spike ball and just laying on a blanket and watching the sunrise.
In the end, many members of the Class of 2024 turned out for senior Sunrise and enjoyed making memories with their friends.
