High School can be filled with many memorable things such as dances, sports, clubs, classes, etc.
With the end of the year quickly approaching, seniors were asked what their favorite memories were from their high school experience. This was their response.

Sports

Elli Cowden said, “My favorite memory in high school was when we beat Madonna on a buzzer  beater my junior year. The student section was filled, and everyone was so hyped up. It was just such a great atmosphere.”

Emily Burskey said, “Volleyball with all my friends.”

Rylee Donaldson said, “My favorite memory from high school is all the bus rides with the softball
and volleyball team where we had fun and got closer as a team.”

Lindsey Fayak said, “My favorite memory was
when my soccer team got together, and we played hostage.”

Reagan Hoover said, “My favorite memories from high school were the times the softball team went to Tennessee. Going on a trip with my teammates was so fun and we made so many memories. We got to play and have fun and it was something I’ll never forget.”

Ryan Weber said, “My favorite memory must be when the baseball team when we went to Tennessee in my junior year. We did not do the greatest down there, but I got the chance to pitch, and I struck out the top Tennessee recruit for their baseball team.”

Savannah Moore said, “Most of my favorite memories have to do with the bowling team, especially going to Nationals and competing as a team and just having each other’s backs no matter what.”

Alex Orris said, “Winning OVAC’s two years in a row for soccer. Being able to win that trophy and hold
it high was one of the most exhilarating moments of
my life.”

John Wansack said, “My favorite high school experience was winning back-to-back OVAC Championships with my Soccer Team.”

Arissa Waugh said, “Joining the dance team. I love dancing and so to be able to dance for my school
was a nice experience.”

Classes

Vanessa Johnson said, “Any time where I was in
the class with Mr. Angle or Mrs. Williams.”

Dalton Rhoades said, “Either Freshman year Food Prep or the whole first semester of Senior year as I had it with Nevaeh and Mya 24/7 every class basically just the easiest and smoothest senior year start.”

Jack Cramer said, “Coach T class because I
liked watching Will Smith.”

Rylie Baker said, “My favorite memory was in Mr. Bellevage’s when we were performing this play called The Good Doctor. I was playing a commander and Dominic Guiddy was playing my subordinate who could not stop sneezing and every time he had to fake sneeze, he did it as loud he could. The comedic timing of the play was just so funny, and Mr. Bellevage’s laugh made it even better. The play we were reading was so funny too because it did not make sense in the slightest, but we had to keep reading it with a straight face and that just was not possible.

Miscellaneous

Ian Ramos said, “Favorite experience was whenever on the last day of school some of the buses would have a water war across to the other busses as you pulled away or sat at the high school waiting for the students who were here when we were all in 6th and 7th grade. My bus would have a ton of water guns or those little pump squirt guns.”

Summer Paull said, “My Favorite memory from high school was when it was my first time marching on to the field for band for the pregame. Because it brought back memories of when my dad wanted me to join. The people who were in the band were there. It happened on the football field. It happened in 2021. It
was very nerve racking for my first time. I made new
friends along the way.”

Harley Brown said, “all the high school dances.”

Lizzy Rhodes said, “I really enjoyed homecoming. I loved getting ready with my friends, watching the
homecoming game, and dancing with my class.”

Aiden Jones said “Homecoming.”
